Sunday saw a difficult trip to Settle to take on the Ribblesdale league made even harder with six first choice players being unavailable for one reason or another.

As late as 10.00pm Saturday night skipper Scott Allen was still recruiting for the early start to Yorkshire.

Unfortunately we did not have a good first half succumbing for just 100 with the pick of the batsmen being Luke O'Brien who top scored on 40.

However we showed some spirit in the second half making the Ribblesdale league work hard, losing 4 wickets on the way to victory.

Neither side could progress as North Lancs & Cumbria had already qualified for the final but the game was still played with
a bit of an edge to it!

Congratulations to the Senior League side following their victory against the Manchester Association League and also to Prestwich for once again winning the Hulme trophy.
