For those who take part in our just-for-fun football predictions league during the winter, the first round of fixtures have been entered and are ready for predictions.

It will be the fifth year the popular competition has been running so if you've never played before, click the link below and join in.

Eight new fixtures will be added each week with the first round of matches due to start on August 11th.

People who've played before need not create a new account, your existing details from last year have not been deleted.

Just to recap, the points system is as follows:

Correct Home Score: 1 point

Correct Away Score: 1 point

Correct Result: 2 points

Correct Overall Score: 1 point

Example:

RESULT: Manchester City 5 - 1 Manchester United

Your Prediction of 3-1 would award the following points:

Correct Away Score of 1 point, correct result of 2 points.

TOTAL: 3 points
