In a nutshell a team of 11 ex West players and supporters in fancy dress will travel by mini bus to each ground in the league.

They will complete a lap of the ground whilst making a collection on behalf of cancer research. Liquid refreshment will be taken!

The event has been registered with Cancer Research who will provide collecting boxes, stickers, sponsorship forms etc.

The hope is to raise in the region of £2,000 but this could be bolstered if, for example, the players from each team had their own whip round before the game which could be collected as they went along (it would be difficult for players to contribute whilst playing). Just an idea its up to each club how much they want to support the event.

It should be a fun day, lets hope we get some decent weather.
