SECOND ELEVENS COMPETITION

All the above Rules apply to the Second Elevens Competition with the following exceptions:-

That only Amateurs play in the Second Eleven fixtures.

It is not necessary for a new ball to be used at the commencement of an innings provided that the umpires are satisfied that the ball to be used is of satisfactory condition and complies with the Leagues Match Bye-Laws. In these circumstances the spare ball shall not be in a better condition than the match ball.

THIRD ELEVENS COMPETITION

All matches will be played using the same League Match Bye-Laws as the First and Second Elevens with the following exceptions:-

It is not necessary for a new ball to be used at the commencement of an innings provided that the umpires are satisfied that the ball to be used is of satisfactory condition and complies with the Leagues Match Bye-Laws. i.e. Reader Sovereign. In these circumstances the spare ball shall not be in a better condition than the match ball.

Matches shall consist of a maximum of 80 x 6 ball overs with a maximum of 40 overs for first innings.

All matches will start at 2.00 p.m., except for matches from 26 August 2006 which will start at 1:00 p.m.

If a game is not started on the designated date, both sides may agree to rearrange the fixture to a mutually acceptable date.

Each team will provide an umpire.

Home team will provide teas for both sides, umpires and scorers.

All games must finish by 8.00 p.m.
