INSTRUCTIONS TO SCORERS

Results of all 1st XI matches must be telephoned by a representative of the home side, to the Press Secretary, Alan Michaelovitz, not later than 8:30 p.m., on his mobile phone (07738 000191) and the following information shall be provided:-

Who batted first, first innings score, second innings score and result (i.e. Team “A” won by x wickets/runs) together with personal achievement details (50+ runs and 5+ wickets).

Results of all 2nd XI matches must be telephoned, by a representative of the home side, to the Press Secretary, Alan Michaelovitz, on his home phone number (0161 773 4110) not later than 9:30 p.m. on the day of the game and leave a clear message on his answering machine stating the following information:-

Who batted first, first innings score, second innings score and result (i.e. Team “A” won by x wickets/runs). Details of personal achievement are not required

N.B. This is essential in order that results will be accepted by the Press for Sunday editions. The failure of any club to carry out these instructions will incur a £5 fine.

OFFICIAL SCORESHEETS must be posted to Paul Scott to arrive within three days. Failure to do so will result in a fine of £5. All sheets are to be filled in with the names of both teams' players, time of start and time of finishing first innings, reasons for late start (if any), and is to be signed by Captains and Umpires. Incomplete sheets shall incur a fine of £3.
