Quite a lot of revised targets and abandonments around the Lancashire County League in a weekend which saw Prestwich Seconds crowned Division Two champions following their four point win at Denton St Lawrence.

As the league enters its final furlong, Glossop and West are the front runners after defeat for Woodhouses and Flowery.

Following a demolition job on Prestwich on Saturday, leaders Glossop lost by 62 runs at Flowery Field the following day to leave them just two points ahead of Denton West.

Denton St Lawrence reached the final of the Barclays Wealth Lancashire KO Cup following their 141 run win over Little Hulton on Sunday.

Glossop's second team lifted the Hulme Trophy on Sunday following their narrow one wicket win over Denton West seconds at Windsor Park.

Perera's unbeatan 68 saw Glossop to a 3 wicket win over Stand to extend the North Road side's lead at the top of Division One to six points.

A Luke Swards inspired Woodhouses beat Denton West in Sunday Walkden Cup Final to lift the trophy for the fourth time. Swards hit 131 not out as his team overcame West by 154 runs.

The change in weather conditions on Saturday contributes to some low scores in the Lancashire County League this weekend.
