Matt Wake took his personal run count for the weekend to 299 following his 160 in DSL's win over Cheetham Hill today. Humayun Farhat blasted 145 in just 69 balls for Hill but the 2008 champions fell 38 runs short. Dukinfield's Amil Rideegammanagedera was unbeaten on 128 as well as taking 5-64 as his side tied with Denton West which narrowed their lead at the top to just one point following Prestwich's 4 point win at home to Flowery Field. 

Scott Kirwin's 6-46 helped Denton West to a narrow 8 run win over Prestwich to take over top spot in Division One from the Heys Road side. Meanwhile, Mohammed Shakir at Thornham blasted 15 sixes during his 161 but his side fell just 3 runs short chasing Flowery Field's 241-8.

Chris Atherton takes 8 for 18 as Woodhouses successfully defend 60 to beat Flowery by a single run on Saturday while Stuart Catterall's 63 helped Stand to a 98 run win at Woodbank to set up a quarter-final Walkden Cup derby with Prestwich after they beat Irlam by 24 runs.

Andy Bradley's 5 for 30 on his return to first team action helped fire Prestwich to the top of Division One as the Heys Road side capitalised on Woodhouses win at Denton West. Scott Allen's 65 not out helped Lawrences to a 9 wicket win at Flowery Field as the 2008 runners-up moved back in to the top five.

An unbeaten 102 from Chris Thomas helped Prestwich to a 100 run win over Dukinfield. West continued their own perfect start with an 86 run win over Lawrence's. Mike Cassidy's 104 and Chris Atherton's 7-16 steered Woodhouses 97 run win over Irlam.

Denton West and Prestwich continue their 100% starts to the season while Thornham pick up their first five points of the campaign with a 102 run win over Dukinfield.

Denton West enjoy a 46 run win over champions Cheetham Hill to go joint top of Division One with Prestwich, who defeated Thornham by 9 wickets. Stand's Carl Sutcliffe took 6-44 as his side bowled Flowery out for just 67.

Despite a heavy 10 wicket defeat at Glossop, Cheetham Hill are crowned Division One Champions as fellow title contenders, Denton West, slipped to a 103 run defeat at Roe Green.

The Lancashire County League today decided that the 2008 Hulme Trophy is to be shared between Prestwich and Denton due to the persistant bad weather not allowing a conclusion to the game.
