Cheetham Hill, Flowery Field and Denton West closed the gap at the top of the table after defeats for Woodhouses and Stand and only one point for Glossop.

Bathiya Perera's third ton of the season saw Glossop past 300 as they maintained their one point lead over Woodhouses at the top of Division One.

Glossop bounced back to top spot after Saturday rain which saw Flowery Field briefly top the division following their four point win over Denton.

Over 560 runs were scored down at The Heys this afternoon as Glossop withstood Sam Holden's brave fightback to edge out Prestwich by 36 runs. Woodhouses, Irlam, Roe Green, West and Stand join Flowery Field and Cheetham Hill in the 2nd Round, to be played on June 20th.

Starting the day 5 points behind leaders Stand, Glossop pro' Bathiya Perera took 4-41 as Stand were dismissed for 184 and followed up with 74 as the home side won by 1 wicket to tie things up at the top of the table.

Amila Weththasinghe's 7-51 helped bowl Woodbank out for 108 and his unbeaten 33 steered Stand to an 8 wicket victory giving them a 1 point lead over Flowery Field at the top of the table. 

Nick Hardman's ten wicket weekend helped Woodhouses keep up their superb start to the new season and set them clear leaders at the top of Division One. Glossop, Stand and Flowery Field keep the pressure on all just a single point behind. 

Joe Moss took 7-38 to reduce West to 160 chasing Glossop's massive 270-4 which included 104 not out for Bathiya Perera. Woodhouses enjoyed a ten wicket win over Woodbank with Sam Sweeney collecting 7-9 while Roe Green and Stand also took maximums to keep up their 100% starts.
