Not much action this weekend as the wet weather has again put paid to cricket matches across the country.

Wins for Cheetham Hill and Denton West while Denton St Lawrence's loss at home to Flowery Field sends the long-time league leaders down to third in Division One.

Imran Mirza's 6-29 earns Cheetham Hill a 4 run win over Prestwich and sends the Catherine Road side top of Division One following Denton St Lawrence's defeat at home to Glossop.

Dave Letven's 5 for 29 helped restrict Thornham to 87ao before Denton West collected maximum points in a five wicket win. In the only other Division One game to be played today, Irlam enjoyed a 71 run win over bottom club Dukinfield. 

Ryan Senior's 114 helps Woodbank to a revised 53 run win over Dukinfield while the weather continues to interrupt games all around the league.

A complete wash-out today barring one Division Two game.

Stand win their first Walkden Cup since 1962 after a thrilling match at Hamilton Road against Roe Green. A low scoring game saw Stand victorious by 31 runs.  

Greg Harwick's 7-28 restricts Walkden Cup finalists Roe Green to 93ao before Glossop reached their target with 9 wickets to spare. Thornham enjoyed a 5 wicket in over Woodhouses while DSL completed the double over Prestwich with a 4 wicket win at The Heys.

Denton West enjoy a 67 run win at leaders Denton St Lawrence as the chasing pack take full advantage. Ryan Senior's 8-75 couldn't help stop Woodbank going down to a 20 run defeat at home to Irlam.
